With the expansion of the World Cup Finals from 32 to 48 countries there are now 104 matches in total to predict this time. That is a lot of matches but don’t worry, you do not need to enter all your predictions in one go if you don’t want to. You will be able to save any predictions entered during any visit to the site, thus allowing you to add predictions at your own pace as desired. Just make sure you remember to click the “Save Predictions” button before you exit the site.
Group Phase predictions will be entered one group at a time. Use the drop down menu under the “World Cup 2026” tab on the main menu bar, select “Enter Predictions” then “Group Phase” and then the group for which you wish to enter predictions. The fixtures to be played in that group will then by displayed with boxes to enter your match predictions. As you enter your predictions the group table will be updated in real time. Once you are happy with your predictions, click on the “Save Predictions” button to update your entry form and save your predictions for that group on the database. Next time you visit the screen for that group your saved predictions will be displayed.
PLEASE NOTE that if you exit the screen or close your browser before saving your predictions, they will be lost and you will need to re-enter them.
As you save your group predictions the website will automatically build the line up for the Last 32 Phase of the tournament based on those predictions. Once you have completed all 12 groups you will then be able to start entering predictions for the Knock-Out Phase. This will be done in the same way as for each group, selecting “Last 32” from the drop down menu, entering your predictions and saving them once you are happy. The website will again automatically build the line up for the “Last 16” ties accordingly and so on until you enter your prediction for the Third Place Playoff and the Final.
You will also be asked to enter predictions for a number of the Bonus Competitions. Some of these competitions will use your predictions to determine your entry, for example, the total goals scored across all 104 matches of the tournament (excluding penalty shoot outs) but some require you to enter a predicted value, for example the total number of yellow cards shown in the tournament, or select a country from a drop down list, for example the first country to receive a straight red card in the tournament (i.e. not two yellow cards). If you do not enter any predictions for those competitions that require them, the site will assign a random prediction on your behalf.
You will able able to review all saved predictions and make any amendments until 20.00 (BST) on Thursday 11th June 2026 at which point entry closes and no further amendments will be possible.
PLEASE NOTE – if you amend any Group predictions after you have entered predictions for the Knock Out phase, those changes may affect your predicted line up in the Knock Out Phase. For example, if you initially have Team 1 winning Group A with Team 2 second but after amending your group predictions, you now have Team 2 winning the group with Team 3 in second place, your line up for the Last 32 Phase will have changed such that Team 2 will now be playing where you initially had Team 1 playing and Team 3 now playing where you initially had Team 2 playing. The respective opposition will have changed and may impact how you want to predict the Last 32 matches.
